Welcome to Dergårdens Hembygdspark, a place where you can feel the wings of time from the 1700s, the 1800s and the 1900s.
On this site there was once a fairly large farm named Dergården. Its farmhouse named “Johns stuga” remains. Built in 1825, it is thought to be one of the oldest farmhouses in Lerum. The farm was in operation until the end of the 1940s. The Undantagsstugan (generation cottage) is from the late 1860s.
Other buildings you can visit are Mossetorpet (late 1700s) and the stylish Hallsåshuset from around 1900. These two were moved here, as were our two large barns – Gräfsnäsladan and Klevemäbbsladan. In one we store such larger items as wagons, carriages, farming machines and tools, as well as equipment from Lerum’s Volunteer Firebrigade. In the other we have our office, kitchen and café.
On Thursdays in July the café is open serving waffles with homemade aronia or chokeberry marmalade. At the same time you can visit our summer exhibit. The last Saturday in August we celebrate homestead day with sales of handicraft, lottery and exhibits.
From route E20 take exit 86 (Lerum öst) and follow the Dageborgsleden towards Lerum. In the traffic circle turn left and follow Alingsåsvägen. Turn right on Kring-Alles väg. Our parking lot is immediately to the left.
The hembygspark is within walking distance from the commuter station.
