The trail around Lake Finnsjön is approximately six kilometres long. If you walk at a normal pace around the lake, stopping to look for the common sandpiper and the black-throated diver, both nesting by the lake, it will take you about two hours. Many use it for jogging. All you’ll hear is the sound of running shoes or laughter from bathing children. The lake is a valuable open-air area for Mölnlycke, one where discovery is always on the menu. This is a fact that the Finnsjö nature pre-school makes use of and where the Swedish Outdoor Association often holds its weekend classes. To top it off, it serves as a breathing space for live nearby. There are several training and walking trails and if you absolutely must, you can take a dip in the lake. There are also many who train for orienteering races in the forest terrain.
