This 8.5 km lake promenade follows the southern shore of Lake Sävelången from Floda to Nääs. Open to baby carriages and bicycles, the path passes fields where grazing cows ensure an open cultural landscape. There are benches and beaches along the path. You pass over two bridges, one at the power station in Floda and the other at the Nääs manor house. Lunch and coffee breaks are available at both ends.
If time and curiosity allows you can combine this walk with a visit to another pearl on the map, namely the Nääs Oak Meadows.
The Floda-Nääs Lake Promenade is an earlier LEADER EU project. Click here for more information and a map. Instructions for finding Floda centrum are below.
Instructions to Floda centrum: Take exit 88 from E20 called Flodamotet. Drive towards centre and follow signs for the railroad station. Park there, right next to the beginning of the lake promenade. You can also start your walk from Nääs. The commuting train from Gothenburg stops here. 57°48'30.8"N 12°21'32.3"E
