The water-driven rolled oats mill at Hillefors is the only mill of its kind in the world. Located in the Säveån River nature reserve in Stenkullen the mill is now owned by the municipality and leased to the Hillefors Grynkvarns Museum Association. The mill is located on the northern shore of the Säveå River. It comprises the mill, wooden chute and turbine house, as well as a water-driven saw and electricity generator. There is also a bone crusher, a smithy and a wash-house. When in full operation rolled oats, oat bran and oat flour and sawed planks were produced here.
The mill operations began towards the end of the 1800s though most of the current buildings were rebuilt in 1913 after a big fire. The main mill building is designed in bricks, while the chute, saw and bone crusher in wood
